Research
Currently, several research
projects are ongoing to study our climate, including how it has
changed over time and how it will continue to change. NOAA's
Climate Research Center is doing extensive research on national and
global climate change. Short-term and long-term predictions
are being modeled by some of the latest and most sophisticated
computer systems. Closer to home here in Maryland, research
scientists at the University of Maryland, College Park, are also
conducting research related to global and regional climate change.
Below are links to current research being conducted in these areas.
